SCHEDULE (subject to change)

DAY ONE
All day - Arrive Pisa Airport and chauffeur to Hotel (40 mins drive).
14:30 - Welcome and Introduction to the Team.
16:00 - Visit to Villa Puccini at Torre del Lago.
18:00 - Lecture in the Simonetta Puccini Auditorium "Puccini and La bohème" including original documents from that time.
20:00 - Supper in Torre del Lago.

DAY TWO
From 07:00 - Breakfast.
Free time at Hotel.
15:00 - Discussion at Hotel “What makes La bohème so special?”
18:00 - Early Supper at Hotel.

DAY THREE
From 07:00 - Breakfast.
10:00 - Travel to Parma (2 hours by luxury coach) Lecture on the journey "The Lost Act in La bohème"
12:00 - Visit to Parma Museum to see the original libretto of La bohème by Illica, including the "lost act" which Puccini did not set to music.
13:00 - Lunch in Parma.
14:30 - Travel to Milan (2 hours by luxury coach).
16:30 - Check in Milan Hotel.
Free time in Milan.

DAY THREE
From 07:00 - Breakfast.
09:00 - Visit to Ricordi Museum, Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense, in Milan.
09:30 - Lecture: "How the original manuscript of Puccini's La bohème ended up at the Ricordi Museum"
10:30 - PRIVATE VIEWING OF THE ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPT at the Ricordi Museum.
13:00 - Lunch.
